However, I know this is a HUGE endeavor to undertake. It's stressful and time consuming. SDO i always thought I would start off small with just some herbs. Unfortunately, it's been hard to actually get the money together to buy soil a pot and the seeds...
Finally my husband convinced me to take a few extra bucks I had and buy one of the kits you can usually find at Lowe's or Home Depot.
So the plan is to see how this goes and whether or not I can move on to something a little more difficult. We're thinking maybe green beans or something else that we would be able to eat. Good news is that I found a few green sprouts growing in the soil which made me very excited to see! Hopefully I'll be able to keep everything alive!

Yes yes yes! Start off small. Then move onto a bigger container. Then maybe into the ground. I started my herb garden from a Chia Kit. Once I was comfortable with that I started filling baskets, and whatever else I had lying around, with soil and plants. My girlfriend used old shoes as planters. I use baskets and old pots and pans.
oh those are great ideas! thank you so much!
