Maybe Moving?

So, I have a bit of a vacation coming up. A giant family affair that will last over two weeks throughout the month of May. While it's looking like it's going to be a great bit of fun. Hectic and crazy, but fun. So, I started looking for options to blog with my phone for all those times in which I'm going to be away from my computer but have a random flash of brilliance hit me that I absolutely have to write down somewhere or fear losing that key sentence or phrase forever.

Using Blogger/Blogspot, I can only blog from the site itself. At least if I want to update a post with photos etc. I don't really mind that, except that if I'm going to be away from a computer, I won't be able to do much blogging while I'm away. I could potentially use OneNote, or even just email myself what I'm thinking about and then actually update my blog when I get home and back onto an actual computer. This isn't a horrible solution considering everyone who ever reads my blog knows it's here.

The other solution to my non-blogging dilemma is to move my blog over to WordPress. Wordpress has an app for my iPhone, something Blogger desperately lacks. However, I'm having trouble understanding how to personalize my blog and make it look the way I want it to look. Which is a pretty big deal for me. A huge part of what I love abouy blogging is playing with everything and changing it to fit what I want. So not being able to do that is a huge drawback

So, I'm still debating on whether or not to move my blog (not that anyone wil actually care because no one actually reads this). I guess I will have to see what happens by the end of this week. Maybe I'll figure out how to use wordpress?

ROFL. You know I follow my blogs practically religiously. The lack of customization is what ended up calling me back to blogger from my temporary visit to Wordpress - it was just too limiting unless you had their premium service. I've tried out so many different kinds of services. I don't know if Tumblr has a mobile app but that has been the one that has been most tempting to me although I believe layouts are limited there as well to some degree unless you buy on but I'm not entirely sure on that. YES, Tumblr has an app that allows for easy upload of text, photos, videos, and audio recordings. I think I just might switch. I'll post up a review a little later if you're curious.

okay, I really don't think Tumblr is for me. I'm only able to change little things about it as far as I can tell right now....Maybe I need to play some more... but blogger was just sooo easy to figure out
